And as for the papoose board, I didn't actually SEE it ( oh, I feel so guilty just saying that) and they didn't actually SAY "strap down" but I just assumed it from my rudimentary knowledge of papooses - is that the plural of papoose? Or should it be papooie? He survived just fine, but the NEXT time when he had to go in there alone(for a teeny-tiny follow-up appointment) he pitched a royal fit the likes of which I have never seen before or since. I feel like those people are my mortal enemies now. How dare you traumatize my child like that!?

Sigh...I feel your pain. And I love my regular dentist, who let me hold Jamie on my lap the whole time at his first appointment. Yay for parent choice! : )

And I wish you a most-peaceful remainder to your January...gretchennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11205826.post-41219268500937763132011-01-14T14:38:57.578-05:002011-01-14T14:38:57.578-05:00Oh Claire. I'm still kicking myself for obeying him. Poor thing, hope he recovers quickly.ljmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17636461842297063133noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11205826.post-44756763843424854492011-01-14T13:46:42.793-05:002011-01-14T13:46:42.793-05:00Well, I could have delayed it but it might have be...Well, I could have delayed it but it might have been another week before it could happen because of the weekend, and then Monday is MLK day...and this dentist/doctor was not going to be in until next Friday... or something.
