WHAT is all the kafuffle about? Brad was lying on the floor, playing with his camera and I was sitting nearby. I closed my eyes for a second and he took a picture.
Voila.

Steady on! (As they say here in the UK) ..You do look very relaxed, my dear....The one of you hiding behind the guitar is a bit scary though. Kind of looks like the lights are on but noone's home.
The afternoon sun was coming through the living room window, so I used the camera's spot meter to expose for just the light hitting her face. I knew the room was so dark by comparison that the background would go black. Left in the automatic metering mode it would have exposed for the room and overexposed Claire's face.

I just wondered if Brad had used some special background or lighting since it is so dark behind you.
