Video: Christmas Morning

Hey folks, Brad here. With apologies to all of you on dial-up internet, here is a video. If you don't have broadband, don't bother - it isn't that exciting. I just wanted to see if I could figure out how to do it. I assembled some footage from our festive Christmas morning, including some tater tot chucking.

Music was a great touch!

Claire, no, you were not trembling too much.

And that tater tot WAS heard 'round the world, namely by me! :O) (The other side of the Atlantic counts, right?)

Wow. Bradley moves down south and look what happens! :) That Nate must be a very bad influence...

I loved the video! It made me feel like I was there. Of course I laughed my head off at all the Pass, Murray, and Brown humor, which is so familiar ('specially the Pass). And neat to see the house, too.

HI again.

I just want to say:
BROADBAND RULES!

I can't imagine living without it.
Better than silver, gold,
diamonds...no but really...

HEY,
What a waste of perfectly edible tots.

And Come ON now,
DON'T THROW THEM OVER THE NEIGHBORS FENCE !

They might not appreciate the tradition...

Lovely movie! My favorite part was the handing over of the bread in the tube. I opened some crescent rolls for the first time on New Years Day...I wasn't quite ready for the POP when the seal was broken. It scared me...but just a little. :)

Brad, I was trying to reinstall the scanner on my laptop when I discovered that the software was for Epson stylus C42 Series Printer as opposed to Epson Scanner 4870. Do you have the correct software, or did it never get to you (and thus is lurking about in my things)?

Brad said...

Katie, I had the same trouble when I installed it on my computer - apparently the scanner disc is missing - I had to download the drivers and software from the Epson website. I think maybe the C42 disc is from Gerry's computer - I don't know. Good luck!

You were so right to say not to bother if you don't have broadband. I stubbornly tried anyway, and watched a very tortured minute (mostly pauses). The content was not tortured, mind you, but good!

That video was strangely touching. Claire says "my word" and I laughed because my hubby says that too. Oh, and I get to buy an iPod after I lose 30 pounds. :-) That's my goal to motivate myself.

"A Festivus for the rest of us!!" LOL!

This video reminded me our family holiday videos. The banter, the quiet conversations, etc. It's funny seeing how similar our family interactions are, even though we live in different states and have never met. It just reminded me of the bond we share with our fellow humans. :-)

Oh, and I'm dying to know what all the songs are that you used because I LOVED them.

One more quick thing! I may want to try this on my blog, so did you use a particular video editing software for merge the video and the songs? I haven't ventured into that arena yet, but you've inspired me. :-)
