I decided to take liberty with today's color and post a black and white image. I took it the other day in color for the red/pink day, but it was too orange.
The black & white is very dramatic...and beautiful!! Would you be terribly offended if I, um, borrowed this image for my desktop on my wonderful new MacBook? The white edge of the screen would set off your picture nicely, and I would tell everyone that it was your picture. Not that anyone actually sees my new MacBook because I keep it safe in a padded room where visitors must log in and out. Really. Doesn't everyone have one?
I'll have you all know that I stood in the rose garden holding a black T-shirt up behind this rose for several minutes while Brad took many pictures. And then he said, " This would be a lot easier if I just cut the rose..." I think he was asking my permission. And I said yes, and we cut it and brought it inside where it was a lot easier to control the rose...No more swaying in the breeze and all that. So, even though I didn't actually take any of the pictures for color week, I helped, in my own way...
So -- there you have the "Making Of/Behind the Scenes" featurette.

Loverly! I thought it was a professional picture you filched from somewhere.
