My New Vegetable Border

After many months of indecision and hopelessness, I finally took the plunge and ordered a wallpaper border to cover up the strip of wall in our kitchen that showed signs of formerly having a border. My kitchen theme is...( take a guess)...vegetables! I was intrigued with this border and it seemed to go very well with everything.

It came yesterday and today I put it up with a little fear and trembling, and much smoothing of bumps and gooshing of glue. It adds a much needed splash o' color in that area of the kitchen. I am very happy with it- and what's more- so is Brad! Check it out!

Ol' 'Lanche wonders if you might be so kind as to allow him to have a small nibble the next time he visits? 8~)

I am very impressed! Well done! I really like it and it fits in very well with the rest of the veggie theme.

Add me to the list of those who like it...it's so classy, yet very colorful without being TOO colorful.

Really like this! Classy indeed. I don't generally go for borders, but sounds like something was needed, and this is downright delightful. You know what you should do if you have extra? You could cut out and frame one or 2 panels and put them up somewhere in the kitchen!

Very nice! :) One of these days we'll actually do something with the walls of the house and I'll have to come up with a *theme*. Yikes!

Is your yard fenced? Could you throw the ball over it? It doesn't necessarily need to be the yard it came from... :) If you don't have a fence, you could just knock it over the property line. :) Or maybe someday a kid will come back for it. :D

KK- Great idea...Maybe I'll do that.

Amy- no our yard is not fenced...but maybe I will sneak over the property line in the dead of night and plant it in our next door neighbors' yard- they have kids...

I like how rustic and non-ccokie-cutterish the border is. (And I have your Little Jerry song running through my head right now!)

At first I was thinking a border with vegies...(hmmm...interesting) thinking kinda not as classy as what you have...those are some le classi borders! Nice... and nice color too!

Janelle, Hi! I bought the wallpaper online at wallpaperwholesaler.com. The book name is called "Take Me Home"; the pattern # is BJ1095BD; the page # is 116. Let me know if you have difficulty finding it. Thanks for commenting!
