That's What It's All About

Sometimes I think it all comes down to one word: dishes.

Life is simply a very long rotation of dirtying dishes and then cleaning them up again. I think we should go back to being cavemen. Cavemen didn't have dishes. They ate with their hands. Why can't we do that? We have soap. We have hand sanitizer. Why use dishes?

Yes, my life seems to consist mainly of cleaning up messes (like dishes) or other such, again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and then......AGAIN!

You could go back to trenchers. Bread plates that you EAT...yay!

Or...have the family pot that everybody dips out of, a la first century Israel. Just tell Brad that it's Biblical!

Good point Claire. If you find a viable option, let me know, ok?

And paper plates, etc, don't count. They cost extra money :-)

Oh, just have Brad do them, that way YOU don't have to worry about them :-)

Better yet, why WASH dishes? As long as they're marked "His," "Hers," and "Company," why bother cleaning them? You merely eat your own germs and crusty food. (Can you tell I'm a bachelor?)

Yes!! Or maybe we could all just eat pizza delivery...who needs a plate when you have a really big box? And we could just drink soda, that way we wouldn't need glasses. And I've discovered that ice cream tastes even better when you eat it from the carton. That way we'd only eat with spoons, and if you lick them clean, you don't need to wash them! :)

LOL at all of the suggestions! I don't mind doing the dishes, but I HATE cleaning bathrooms. I wish there was some kind of button to push that would instantly sanitize a bathroom and make it sparkling clean!
