I just have to say, that little ditty I break out with at the end is a real song...Well, it's a twisted version of an old spiritual, " Close the door, Keep out the Devil."

Happy birthday Claire! You are my favorite Daughter-in-law!
I was able to watch about half the video, and for some reason couldn't get it back again after I had to restart Dad's computer. Ah, well. At least I saw the creature.

You guys are so silly! As I laughingly watched the clip, I thought, "What are their kids going to be like?!"

Anyway, Happy Birthday, Claire!! Although it's the end of the day there, hopefully my wish works in reverse time or something like that. :-)

Oooh, happy birthday, Claire! :D (I guess you can add me to the long list of people who've said that today!) :)

But I have to say, you put the poor little (creepy, antennaed, yucky, vermin-even-if-not-a-rodent) fuzzy guy out in the rain?? I'll bet he's cold, and wet, and lonely, and sad, and and and...and that's definitely what I would have done, assuming he lived long enough to get out the door. Bugs and their babies are not safe in my house. I try to remember to put them outside before my "kill the creepy crawly" instinct takes over, but it doesn't always work. Especially not if they have 8 legs. :P

And Brad, the last line there, "You're my favorite," made my little heart melt (for Claire).

And Brad, I do have a problem with the movie... it's called a v e r y s l o w c o n n e c t i o n s p e e d.

Woe is me.

Worked fine at the Sandfords'. Was greatly enjoyed there as well. I especially liked the "Close the door..." part. :-)

My eyes brightened as I saw the heading about "carpetbaggers." What history lesson might this be? I was a little disappointed on the history front, but ended up laughing, so it was all good. Claire, your squeals were quite familiar, reminiscent of BS days when hearing such noises from the kitchen or on the volleyball court was a common occurence. And happy birthday super late!

That was soooo funny! And you both have adorable accents. I feel sorry for the poor fuzzy caterpillar though . . . do they like rain? I love caterpillars. I used to see fuzzy ones all the time when I was little but rarely see them anymore. So I would have been overjoyed to find one in my house. But that's just me. I'm kind of an insect freak. I used to look under rocks when I was little to see what kind of creepy crawlies I could find. LOL!

I recognized that song immediately because we used to sing it in my Jr. High youth group.
