We hung out with Nate and Penny on Saturday. Trees. Caterpillars. Roses. Ice Cream. Hurray.

I kept thinking of that DD commercial..."Get your 8 yr. old out of the tree!" Have you seen it? I love that. Anyway...
Claire, I can't believe you aided and abetted(?)Nate's cruel bug poking tendencies!

That was one strange catepillar!....they certainly do have strange bugs in the south.

My goodness, what a cute little bug! Did you give him a name???

Didn't know Claire was such a whiner. :-) Is ice cream the only way to quiet her down?

And I definitely vote for silver maple over red maple...don't know that I've seen a silver maple, but I've seen plenty of red maples and the leaves didn't look red maple-esque to my tree-expert eye (ya, right). What color did the leaves turn last fall?

You guys crack me up! :-) And I love your accents. I know, I know . . . you don't have accents and I probably have a Californian accent. But I still love your accents. ;-)

Being a complete insect geek, I would have been touching the "creature" with my fingers and probably waving it in Claire's face. Hee. I love furry caterpillars. LOVE them. I used to see them all the time when I was young and now rarely do, so I was thrilled to see one in your video.

Yup...Brad and Penny...New England accents as strong as they come! :-) Claire, on the other hand, definitely has a California accent.

Oh, the irony.

Asaphat, THANKYOU!

And don't forget Nate, with that unmistakable dyed-in-the-wool California twang.

I wasn't even doing any Coach Z voice or English accents or anything! Huh. I guess all accents are relative.

The accent is in the ear of the hearer...

*Current mood: woebegone

I can't play your movie and I don't know why! It says that my file has an extension doesn't match the format. Any suggestions? (I was able to play the aquarium video and "Little Jerry," so I don't know what's up.

Any suggestions?
