The squeaky wheel...
...gets presents!!
Remember my post about eggnog recently? And how I said I wanted a nutmeg grater? Well, someone with the love language of gift-giving - my friend Soj, in fact- read that and clicked on over to Amazon and BOUGHT ME ONE! It just came in the mail today! I can't believe it! How cool is that?! Thanks, Soj! An excuse to buy more eggnog! ( As if I needed one...) Mmmmm....
I should post about things I want more often! And now to get a nutmeg nut...

Oh great! Now all your friends are going to think I'm Santa Claus and start leaving me lists of what they want...
And for the record--I'm one of the rare breeds who speaks a different love language than she hears. I give love with gifts, I receive love with quality time and words of affirmation...so um...if you want to reciprocate the nutmeg grater, go spend some time at my blog and make sure the # of people who love me is never on zero!
I love the picture, by the way. HEE. You made my day!
Great picture! I can cross that off my list now...
Soj- actually, I think that there are a lot of people who speak a different love language than they hear. I can't say it's true for me b/c words of aff are what I need and what I give, but I do know of others who give one and need another...
Okay- whether there are comments or no, the number of people who love you is NEVER zero!! :)
Looks like Stan is very interested. Probably very relieved that now he can have fresh nutmeg with his eggnog.
You know Claire, I've been wanting a Porsche 911 for years! So if the Spirit moves you...
does adding the extra nutmeg really make a taste difference?
DJ- I KNEW you were going to say something to that effect...:)
Nutmeg doesn't really make a MAJOR difference, but in my opinion, it does enhance the whole eggnog experience. But be careful, I learned yesterday that too much nutmeg can be POISONOUS to your system!!
I love fresh nutmeg! and that kitten is ADORABLE.
it's been a while since I've visited. I'm another one a soj's friends, but I was catching up onher blog and thought, yeah Claire is funtastic and I haven't been to her blog in ages.
So off I traveled and was greated by a picture that could charm the socks of santa.
poisonous did you say? Hmm, this bears investigating.
and methinks I've become too predictable. Rats...
Wow, Soj! And yes, I'm one of those hybrids, too.
Cute picture as usual, Claire. That is one photogenic kitty!
Are you waiting for someone to get you a nutmeg nut before you post again? Because if so, I'm willing to send one down in order to get a new post!!!
I was just going to comment along the lines of Linds! Apparently great ideas ARE genetically linked :-)
You guys are too funny! As you can see, no, I wasn't waiting for a nutmeg nut to post...but that isn't to say I have one now...I have looked in several stores, and apparently, they are in short supply b/c I can't locate one for da life of me.
