They're baaaaack...!
So I was skipping merrily into the bathroom tonight singing the Texas fight song ( not really sure if it was the Texas fight song - it's the one that says ..." something something something...deep in the heart of Texas!"- don't ask why because there is no reason- it just feels good to sing it) and suddenly, out of the blue, I saw a cockroach crawl out of the closet. WHAT?! I was just thinking the other day about how glad I was that we were in a bugless season and I didn't have to walk around the house in fear of vermin. I guess there is no season that is bugless around here. So yeah. I killed it. But I am TERRIFIED of doing the laundry tomorrow...Who knows what may be hiding in that laundry basket...

I weep for you! I deeply sympathize!
(And if this posts twice, I will feel very silly).
Coming out in the winter is definitely against all rules of combat.
Evil critter!
Oh the lovely cockroaches. They seem to be a GA thing, the last two times I spent the night at my inlaws house (prior to them being inlaws) I awoke both nights with a very large cockaroach walking around in my MOUTH! Let's just say I am glad now that I don't have to sleep on the floor in their dining room anymore :-)
WHAT?! That is one of my greatest fears now! SO GROOOOOSS!!!
Eeewwww.... I really, really hope that Ethan was making that up :(
ok, an extra inch of snow suddenly doesn't sound so bad...
So yeah, cockroaches are pretty gross, but really, I wanted to post about the fact that when you quoted the song you were singing it sounded just like a Jeeves book... Bertie Wooster is always trying to quote apropos sayings and most of it consists of "something, something something..."
And personally, with the little experience of Ethan that I've had, I'm thinking he's joking.... and for my own personal well-being, I'm going to assume so either way!
Joking or no, that story has now become my new number one fear.
Aaaargh! In your mouth? That's awful. That's my worst nightmare.
Claire, here's hoping that was the only cockroach in your house.
ew! That's aweful I wouldn't want a surprise like that ever!
