Unto Us a Son is Given

Aiden Charles Murray Pass
7lbs. 12oz.

"...a sleep full of sweet dreams, and health, and quiet breathing."

He popped out at 11:59 - I guess he was determined not to be a Christmas baby! My eyes kept darting to the clock, hoping he would be born on Christmas day. Claire didn't, though, and she won.

We are very happy. I'll let Claire share the gory details at a later date, but it is enough to say that we saw God's hand make the difference.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I was talking to Dennis when your mom (Brad) called and told me the exciting news. He is adorable. I was going to say he looked like Claire, but I can also see Brad, so he's a perfect mix. Can't wait to meet the little guy soon! Merry Christmas!

Hallelujah!

I walked downstairs this morning and opened my stocking and then Daddy said, "Thank the Lord for Brad and Claire's baby!" Then I had to go back upstairs and turn on my computer to see this amazing picture and rejoice with you!!

What a precious gift! What an amazing picture too - he doesn't look like a shriveled peanut like some newborns :) He is so good looking! Can't wait to meet him - maybe in January! :)

Blessings on you all and Merry Christmas!

YAAAYYY!!!!

So excited... Lots of extra Christmas rejoicing in our house today! Thanks for making that possible. :-)

(Oh, and Clyde was on Claire's side and feels quite victorious that Aiden came on HIS birthday.)

Oh, I'm beyond thrilled! I thought and prayed for you guys all day yesterday. Claire, I can't wait to hear about the birth!

We have the same name picked out for a son if we have one! Just a different spelling . . . Aidan. Great minds think alike. :-)

Love to you both!

Claire haven't you had enough vacation? Philip keeps asking when you will be coming over!

I think you need to get back to work :)

Can't wait to see the little cutie pie!

I came back because I had to look at that little face again. Sigh. So much cuteness. Maisy wore the exact same hat home from the hospital.

Welcome to your blessed gift from heaven. He will be loved. I hope I get to meet him someday.

Clarification: "we laughed at the time..." I meant, we laughed when we read what time he was born! WOW!

Congratulations! Cara and I have been gleefully anticipating this baby, excited to see what Brad and Claire would look like combined. We aren't disappointed. He is scrumptious.

I laughed as well when I heard what time he was born!
Claire deserved to win; she was doing all the work, after all..
