Fewd

Thursday afternoon, the doorbell rang and there stood our next door neighbor with a bag in his hand. This man is a chef- or a consultant at a major food supplier; I don't know his exact title. Anyway- he had recently attended some big old food show thing...and he was bringing us some leftovers. Wow- how do we rate? In the bag were a bunch of other smaller bags, including: some luscious looking steaks, a bag of frozen shrimp ( YESSSSS), a bag of broccoli salad, and a gargantuan amount of cheese. My WORD.

Sounds like a downright likeable sort, your neighbor...

Wow, we barely know our neighbors yet! :-) That's awesome!

I saw your title, then read about the neighbor showing up, and thought maybe he had a rifle and was going to get some bad blood started between your family and his so you could have a long-standing P___es vs. "Smith" saga. That would have been way more exciting.

Very nice. Wish my neighbors, or at least my housemate, would do that kind of thing for me :)

Actually, A.C., the whole YESSS thing was a bit o' the sarcasm...because shrimp are scary.

It seems to me thet them shrimp would do good on a hook as an temptation to other edible aquatic life... ...but then I suppose no self respectin' fish would be caught dead eatin' a shrimp!
